1970 US Open Championship winning racquet. Open Championship by Slazenger racquet. Plaque reads US OPEN In 1970, and at 35 years of age, Ken Rosewall used this racquet to win his second US Open title, 14 years after claiming his first. The tournament also marked the Grand Slam debut of the tiebreak and Rosewall won the first tiebreak in a Grand Slam finial victory over Tony Roche. Note: the racquet has been re-strung with synthetic strings to avoid warping of the frame.
